Friday, April 4 at 6:00 pmGrifton

Join A Time For Science and the Carolina Skies Astronomy Club at 7:30 pm to view the night sky and a waxing crescent moon. A variety of telescopes will be available and later a guided tour of the spring constellations will be presented

Come out earlier, starting at 6:00 pm, to learn more about the moon, including NASA’s Moon Zoo program, moon phases, what your weight would be on the moon and more. You will also be able to stroll a solar system and touch a nose wheel tire from the Space Shuttle Endeavour.

The NC Science Festival’s annual Statewide Star Party is made possible through the generous support of the NC Space Grant.
