Bird Watching: On the Web and In the Wild

Noon Saturday, April 14 Asheville

Have you wondered what kind of woodpecker is hammering in your backyard? Or what that colorful bird is? Join us for an introduction to birding and an opportunity to become a “citizen scientist”. This program will show you how to use the E-Bird website, developed by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. You can share and record your bird sightings and become part of a national science project! This program will be followed by a short hike/bird watch. This program is for people ages 10 and up.
