2012 Earth Day Expo
Join us for a celebration of earth and science, hosted by the North Carolina Center for Biodiversity at East Carolina University!
From 10 am – 1 pm, visit the Howell Science Complex and surrounding outdoor areas on ECU’s main campus for lab tours, exhibits, and hands-on activities by university personnel, non-profit groups, and environmentally-themed companies.
In the afternoon, from 1 – 4 pm, continue your explorations of science and nature. You can visit the West Research Campus of ECU to participate in programs on bluebird boxes, a service project to remove invasive species, and a tour of some long-term ecological experiments. Or, head down the road to A Time For Science, where you can enjoy themed nature walks, pond explorations, and other aquatic adventures.
Finally, stop by the Queen Anne’s Revenge Conservation Lab Open House any time from 11 am – 3 pm to learn more about conserving Blackbeard’s famous ship.
