KCS Moment of Science

On April 20, 2012, starting at 9 am, all Kannapolis City Schools teachers will conduct a science lesson or integrate a science component into their instruction as part of a “Moment of Science” theme. For example, a high school English teacher might discuss humanity’s responsibility for its creations through a passage from the classic Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. An elementary school may choose to have a school demonstration or host a guest speaker.
