The Outdoor Classroom: Integrating Natural Experiences with the Curriculum

North Carolina public school teachers with three or more years experience, join us this week as we team up with scientists and science educators to explore some of the ways we can incorporate outdoor classroom experiences into our teaching. Tag migrating Monarch butterflies, band birds on a mountaintop, and delve into the streams and forests of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Note: This event runs from the afternoon of Thursday, April 12 through the morning of Sunday, April 15.
