RoboFest 2012: Robots & Recycling

10 am Saturday, April 14 Greensboro

RoboFest is a celebration of science and technology that offers hands-on fun for the whole family. Visitors can watch Natural Science Center robotics teams move LEGO® robots through challenges, run a robot buggy, and free build with thousands of LEGO bricks. Kids can experiment with liquid crystals, construct giant molecules, and interact with nanotechnology scientists.

The Science Center has partnered with 5R Processors, Inc. to make this a recycling event too! Visitors are encouraged to bring in cans, old electronics, dead computers, cell phones, printers, and even appliances to make the biggest “robo-graveyard” ever!

Cost for general admission is $8 per adult, $7 per child ages 3-13, and $7 per senior ages 65 and up. Members and children ages 2 and under are free. There is no cost to drop off items to be recycled.
