It’s also pretty tasty! During this class, participants will learn how to cook with this spicy, garlicky plant. Eating it is not only good for your body (it’s packed with Vitamin C and Vitamin A), but good for the earth, too. Garlic Mustard densely colonizes our woodland floors, pushing out our diverse native wildflowers and confusing native insects, including pollinators. During this class, Cara-Lee Langston of Wildcraft Kitchen will teach participants how to prepare pesto and kraut from wild-foraged Garlic Mustard. Everyone will take home a jar of each sauce to enjoy, as well as a copy of the recipes. Join us for one of our four Garlic Mustard Removal Days on 3/15, 3/23, 3/28, or 4/2 to receive $10 off this class! If you join for the 4/2 event, you’ll get to forage your own Garlic Mustard to use in this class.
