Each NCSF event host receives a kit of promotional materials, including a handbook filled with promotional ideas. In addition, on this page you’ll find links to downloadable promotional materials that you can customize for your official North Carolina Science Festival event. (Select the format you prefer; formatted files will download to your computer.)

KELVIN, THE FESTIVAL SPOKESBOT

As an event host, you’ll receive your very own Kelvin, the official mascot of the North Carolina Science Festival. Kelvin is ready to help you promote your event!

FESTIVAL “BOILERPLATE” LANGUAGE

You can add this “boilerplate” text to the end of any news release about North Carolina Science Festival events, or use it any time you need a quick, easy-to-understand description of the Festival.

FESTIVAL POWERPOINT SLIDES

You can use the Festival’s official pre-show slides before your event. Just download the .pptx file to your computer’s desktop (or to the presentation computer) and double-click the file to begin the presentation. The file is configured to play automatically in full screen mode. Hit “Esc” to end the presentation.

Help the Festival to improve, more and more, every year! Ask everyone who participates in your event to complete this one-page evaluation form and, after your event, send the completed forms to the Festival office.
