NC Science Festival Traveling Science Roadshow

Traveling Science Roadshow

We’re sending UNC-Chapel Hill undergraduate students across the state to share science with new audiences. Science majors Steve Mow and Jonathan Martinez-Ruiz are bringing the Festival’s new Traveling Science Roadshow to Henderson (Vance County), Edenton (Chowan County), Currituck (Currituck County) and Columbia (Tyrrell County) in 2016.

  • Henderson
    Thursday, March 17
  • Edenton
    Friday, March 18
  • Currituck-Knotts Island Ferry
    Saturday, March 19
  • Columbia
    Sunday, March 20

At each stop, Mow and Martinez-Ruiz lead amazing hands-on science activities with audiences of all ages. (Look for more details in this news release from UNC.) Rocket balloons, AirZookas and Fire Tornados are coming your way — get to ready celebrate spring break, NC Science Festival style!

The Traveling Science Roadshow is made possible thanks to the Science Festival Alliance.
