Catch and Release: Two teams race each other to catch the most fish! Learn about fresh water fish native to the area while you study the angles and try to catch plush fish to add to your team's pond! Bungee Blast: Using rubber bands, create a bungee cord to ensure a safe landing for action figures. How does the mass of the jumper & distance of the drop affect the length of the cord? Use math to calculate how many rubber bands it will take. Radar Runners: Use a radar gun to compare your running speed to the speed of native NC animals.  Learn how mass and weight influence speed and what physical characteristics make them able to move the way they do.
