ABOUT THIS EVENT
Did you know that the U.S. EPA in Durham, NC is the largest facility ever built by the agency? More than 2,000 professionals work at this state-of-the-art facility that serves as a model for safe, healthy, and environmentally-sustainable research.
During our April 2021 Tour Tuesdays, we invite you to join us for a virtual glimpse into some of the exciting work that we do to protect human health and the environment.
All tours will be held from 12-12:30 EST on Microsoft Teams, and you must pre-register for each tour by emailing witter.kelly@epa.gov by 8 am the day of the tour to receive the event link.
Topics include:
- EPA-RTP’s Sustainable Building Practices (4/6)
- EPA’s COVID-19 Research (4/13)
- Using the EnviroAtlas Tool to Explore Ecosystem Services (4/20)
- Science to Improve Homeland Security (4/27).
Participation is limited to 30 participants per tour. Educators (K-12, university), a limited number of tours are available for students. Please email us separately to schedule.
