The 12th annual North Carolina Statewide Star Party, a signature event of the 2024 NCSciFest, will be held from Friday, April 5, through Monday, April 8, 2024. This year’s theme is “Sun & Moon” in honor of the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024.
Funded by the North Carolina GlaxoSmithKline Foundation, FUTURES is a STEM outreach program that empowers community college faculty, staff, and students to connect with their local community through sharing their personal stories.
The NC Science Trail is a collection of 60 science education partners across the state encompassing dozens of museums, nature centers, botanical gardens, the NC Aquariums, the NC Zoo, and State Parks. The new NCScienceTrail.org website launched on April 1, in coordination with Science Festival events and the Year of the Trail in an effort to broaden and advertise year-round access to science experiences across the state of North Carolina.
