Oral History: Apollo 11
July 20, 1969. The day that humankind first walked on the Moon. Many people remember the Apollo 11 Moon landing – their thoughts and feelings about it, where they were and who they were with, and how it influenced their perception of the world. Find someone who was born before July 1969 – perhaps a parent, grandparent, friend, or neighbor – and ask them about their experiences with the Moon landing and other memories of that summer.
