For more than 20 years, Biogen employees have been volunteering through our Community Labs to spark local student interest in science and biotechnology and help create pathways for young adults to careers in life science. In 2023, the Community Lab began to invite outside collaborators, in addition to Biogen employees, to teach in the Lab – ushering in a new era of collaboration with the talented educators in our community.

Biogen’s NEW "CoLab" in RTP is excited to open our doors to nonprofits and educational organizations in the area, offering free state-of-the-art facilities to organizations serving our local communities. This open house, or “Open Lab” event is an opportunity for organizations interested in using the space to get their questions answered and begin the booking process.
