There may be Dueling Dinosaurs in Raleigh on April 27 but there will be a ROCKin’ good time happening at the 3rd annual ROCKin’ Geology Party, hosted by the NC Geological Survey and NC State Parks! Join us for this fun afternoon highlighting all things geoscience. Test your geology knowledge in our Rock vs. Mineral Identification Challenge. Try your hand at our Dueling Rocks Obstacle Course Challenge. Complete the Rock and Mineral Scavenger Hunt during a guided geology walk. Express your creative side by crafting a geode at our Art Emporium. Come for a bit or come for the afternoon - just come to have a rocking good time with North Carolina geologists.

There is a $7 Day Use fee to enter this Recreation Area. HOWEVER, NC State Parks will be supplying a FREE Day Use Pass for all registered participants for this event. You must register using the link below in order to get your free Day Use Pass:
